Mbulelo Dayimane, an Art and Design lecturer at Lovedale TVET College's Alice campus brings a wealth of experience. Not only is he a designer and print-maker, but he is also pursuing his Ph.D. in Education. While working on the logo for the college's 200th anniversary and creating elements used on the college academic regalia, Dayimane had a clear idea in mind. He wanted to capture the essence of Lovedale's long history and make sure the designs were simple, but meaningful.

Dayimane put his own artistic touch on the project, making sure they reflected the college's identity and values. He admitted that he wanted his design to evolve around the number 200. This presented him with the challenge of incorporating the college's logo and the number symbol into a beautiful bicentenary design. As a designer he is most proud of how he managed to create designs that were both simple and meaningful, capturing the spirit of Lovedale. He hopes his work will be remembered for a long time and inspire future designers to do their best for the college.

Dayimane's contributions to Lovedale's bicentenary celebrations logo design show his loyalty to his work and his desire to preserve the college's history. Through his designs, he has made a lasting impact on Lovedale's legacy, paving the way for more creativity and innovation in the future.
